Refusal of Unauthorized Email Collection

We hereby prohibit the unauthorized collection of email addresses posted on this website by email harvesting programs or any other technical means. Please be advised that any violation of this policy is subject to criminal penalties under the Act on Promotion of Information and Communications Network Utilization and Information Protection (ICN Act).

01 Article 50-2 of the ICN Act (Prohibition of Unauthorized Collection of Email Addresses)
  • No person shall collect email addresses from any website on which a clear indication refusing such collection has been posted, whether through the use of automated collection programs or any other technical means.
  • No person shall sell or distribute email addresses collected in violation of Paragraph 1.
  • No person shall use email addresses that are known to have been collected, sold, or distributed in violation of Paragraphs 1 and 2 for the purpose of transmitting information.
02 Article 65-2 of the ICN Act (Penalties)

Any person falling under any of the following subparagraphs shall be subject to a fine not exceeding ten million Korean won (KRW 10,000,000).

  • A person who has implemented technical measures in violation of Article 50, Paragraph 4
  • A person who has transmitted commercial advertising information for profit in violation of Article 50, Paragraph 6
  • A person who has collected, sold, distributed, or used email addresses for the transmission of information in violation of Article 50-2
